The bed was comfy, but the room was too cold without heating.

The room I stayed in was nicely decorated and had a powerful shower. Plenty of pillows, too! it felt a bit chilly even with the radiator on max. being near the staircase meant I heard a lot of noise from guests passing by, which was a bit annoying at times. comfortable but with some room for improvement.

the fleece is a charming old inn with a breathtaking view over the yorkshire countryside. the full english breakfast was big and hearty, but i wish they had mentioned the portion size! the staff were welcoming and helped make our stay memorable. dinner was fresh, and i loved the tempura prawns.

The restaurant serves a decent meal, which, if you like traditional pub fare, might hit the spot. The bar area has a laid-back vibe, making it a reasonable place to unwind after a long day.
The room I got wasn't what I booked—no separate areas or desk for work, which was a letdown. The coffee machine might look modern but it can't boil water adequately for tea. I spent a frustrating morning trying to make it work. The shower design is awkward with taps that require an acrobatic approach just to turn them on, and the bathroom door doesn’t close properly.

We had an amazing time here, especially when they whipped up a delicious vegan breakfast just for us, and the big bath was a total treat after a long day. The peaceful gardens and cozy bar are perfect spots to unwind. Just a minor note, the shower could use some better water pressure, but it didn’t take away from our fantastic experience! ❤️

Had an awesome time here with friends! We enjoyed live music and some tasty BBQ on the balcony with amazing views. The bar staff were super friendly and the food was top-notch. Don’t miss out on the lively atmosphere. it made our stay memorable!
One thing to keep in mind is that the service can get a bit hectic during peak times, especially with events going on, but overall it didn't ruin our experience.

The heating was inadequate, leaving the room quite chilly at night.

Great stay for a memorable occasion
The staff were attentive and friendly, took the time to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was delightful, full English that hit the spot, I usually go for something lighter but this really was the right choice.
It was not exactly cheap, but given the experience, I’d say it was acceptable.
