The bed was comfy, but the room was too cold without heating.

The room I stayed in was nicely decorated and had a powerful shower. Plenty of pillows, too! it felt a bit chilly even with the radiator on max. being near the staircase meant I heard a lot of noise from guests passing by, which was a bit annoying at times. comfortable but with some room for improvement.

the fleece is a charming old inn with a breathtaking view over the yorkshire countryside. the full english breakfast was big and hearty, but i wish they had mentioned the portion size! the staff were welcoming and helped make our stay memorable. dinner was fresh, and i loved the tempura prawns.

I spent a frustrating morning trying to make it work. The shower design is awkward with taps that require an acrobatic approach just to turn them on, and the bathroom door doesn’t close properly.
